Privacy Policy Content Android Platform

The privacy policy of the Nziyo DzeMethodist platform is information on the processing of personal data and other information regarding Users and their representatives in connection with the use of the platform. In this Privacy Policy, we have also included all the information that data subjects should receive in accordance with the GDPR.
The privacy policy contains information on the processing of data obtained by the Developer - Blessing Charumbira (BennySway). Detailed information on the use of cookies or other similar technologies is not included since the platform itself as a whole does not collect cookies nor store them.
The privacy policy applies to all users, i.e. anyone who enters the app, regardless of whether they have an Account or log in to it. Depending on how you use the platform, different cases of data processing about you will apply.

Purposes, legal bases and time of data processing

The Developer processes personal data necessary to provide the Services available on the Platform in accordance with the Regulations or if we have obtained your voluntary, separate consent. We do not process your personal data for other purposes, we do not obtain your personal data from sources other than those indicated below, and we do not transfer them to any entities that are not authorized to have them.

Below we have included a list of purposes and activities of processing Users' personal data by the Developer.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the Developer is the administrator of information. To the extent of the Developer, the data collected only publishes the appropriate tools of these intermediaries. In the remaining scope, the Operator does not process Users' personal data and is not responsible for any irregularities.

Platform operation

On its own, the application requires permissions to access data which will be in these forms: verified email address for logging in purposes, photos from gallery for applying a display picture only in app and audio files for playback when a user makes an audio recording bookmark/note. The user has the choice to use all the apps features without granting access to these permissions of data access, however its a matter of personalization and user experience, that a user may wish to use the data-linked features. This data is collected by reference and the app itself does not create copies nor sends it to the developer. As an example, if a user records an audio bookmark, he or she can listen to it again if the actual file is still stored on the device storage. This applies to display pictures as well.

User Account

The platform enables access to its online databases through logged in users. The conditions to log in involve having a valid Google account and a verified email address. This data is collected to enable unique users and prevent unauthorized access to the platforms database. A user can use the app without logging in enforcement.

Device Information and Statistics

In general, the app will periodically send batch logs to the Developer. These logs will contain the following information: userID (if logged in) device model, internet strength, orientation, crash logs, event logs (like duration on a certain screen) and android version. We do not process this data, but analyse it to improve the platform experience. If the user isnt logged in, there is no other means of uniquely identifying a platform user. In rare cases were a feature breaks only for a specific user, we can only make updates based on the device's information.

Deletion of Logged In User Data

A logged in user can request their data to be deleted. This will include: email address and the platform used to verify the email. Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule ("COPPA") Compliance

The app itself is available to all ages. There is no user generated data hence all data present in the app has been collected by the Developer from different sources and making sure no harmful content is presented. The above mentioned collected data cannot identify the users' age, location, preference nor personal data that can be traced back to a child or any user. Collected data will not violate the privacy or any user and is not passively shared to any third parties or beyond the Developer's platform functionality analytics scope.

The privacy policy may be supplemented or updated in accordance with the current needs of the Developer in order to provide current and reliable information to Users regarding their personal data and information about them. Users will be informed about any changes to the Privacy Policy on the Platform.
